Reverse barbell curls are by FAR the best forearm exercise I've ever done. You REALLY have to watch your form, though, and KEEP YOUR ELBOWS IN.

I don't know why he says it only targets the top of the forearms, because when I do these, both of my entire forearms will be LIT UP.

Spinach.

I did flat/incline and military press with a resistance band looped on the end of the barbell. OMGoodness..... I am so sore today. Absolutely shredded my pecs. There was no 'one' sticking point...... the whole lift was brutal. I tried to do my normal weights with my normal reps... and I did okay with my warmup.... but after that, it kicked my butt.

Anyways...... I will certainly be mixing this in more often. My chest is so sore today.

I didn't want to go to the gym today at all. Usually when I force myself I get through my workout but it's nothing special. Today was a monster day. Somehow I found the motivation when I got there and pushed the hell out of myself the whole way. ****ing awesome! :thumb:

Anybody doing the paleo diet? I have been doing crossfit and that community seems to be believers, my doc said I should either start doing paleo or I that could look forward to statins the next time I see him.

So I did the Bulgarian Split Squats today per Silock's suggestion. I only used 2 30 lb dumbbells and they kicked my ass.

They will be a regular fixture on leg day now.

So anyone got some good fitness sites that have good info. I enjoy reading about all this stuff and look forward to the next Silock link, but I figure if I ask I won't have to wait so long between links.

Awesome! Just wait until you start using the barbell + weights. Talk about sore glutes!

Skipped leg day today. Too much leg work yesterday and I have an actual league soccer game on Friday. Time to rest the legs.
