Not that I think he should be, I just saw that and thought oh boy he's going to piss some people off now...

He has to stand with the players otherwise no recruit in the nation would go there.

I assume the Mizzou administration would understand that, but as we've seen it usually takes them a while to understand a situation and know how to respond to it.

I agree, I was looking more like from boosters...anonymous power brokers, etc. that possibly had Wolfe's back.

I completely agree with GP's stance but I just was curious if he had ruffled any feathers with people that necessarily didn't agree with him or tried to sweep this all under a rug.

The same power brokers and boosters that wanted to hire Kim Anderson? Not sure they are any more aware of the real world.

I can't believe he just quit.

Next up, the football players demand that they be consulted on future campus hirings.

Really wish the kids would have come together like this after Pinkel's DUI. Instead we just keep extending the idiot

You don't want the students to be in charge anymore than the players should be in charge in the NFL.

It's just not a good thing.

If he didn't resign, then they should have fired him. He obviously had no clue what the mood was of the students of his university. Was there a response from his office in regards to any of these incidents?

He depends on luring black athletes. What's he supposed to do?

apparently you know about it all so why are you asking?

maybe stuff was wrong or maybe it was stuff the president couldn't control

I don't know

We'll see how the football team handles their new found power.

Sending a message to the students that the University condemns racism and that there is a zero tolerance policy for it was out of his control?

It's not that complicated and instead he chose to bury his head in the sand.
