He was 8th in the NFL in sacks among interior lineman. He had 6 pressures week 1.

But sure let’s throw that away. This franchise has been so great at drafting pass rushers the last 5 years.

How does signing Thomas throw away Jones? Did I miss something?

This is the worst defense in the NFL..and only has a handful of players worth keeping.

Initially I was against Sutton and ET.

I'm now convinced we need to do what it takes to get ET.
If our defense still blows hard chunks with ET and EB back, Sutton can eat a bag of dicks during the off season.

Nobody is saying we throw him away.

It’s more of a fear of draft and development.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I’m worried about our front offices ability to draft quality defensive players.

It was concerning with Dorsey and so far Speaks looks like dog shit.

Where you and I (and others) differ is in the outcome. A lot of people won't be truly happy until Sutton is gone. For me, I just don't think it's that important. Get better players in here and the defense will improve.

To me it would show some stubbornness. I think Kpass is the better player right now and I'm not sure its all that close.

Kpass has shown a lot more this preseason than Speaks has for sure.
