See, I'm more shocked at Coleman being shipped. Dude was pretty good all year for us in 2011.

He struggled a bit in spring training, but I think the bigger problem is finding space. Collins outpitched him during ST, and earned the spot. If they were carrying 8 bullpen guys, I"m sure he'd be No. 8.

Probably so. I'm sure he'll be the first guy up if needed, assuming he doesn't bomb out in Omaha

Looks like Tommy Hottovy isn't going to make it onto the roster.

Damn shame, he's had a great Spring; he's done everything the Royals could ask of him. Went to HS with him and he's a hell of a good dude. Hope he sticks with it, if he keeps pitching like he did in camp, he'll get back up here. LOOGIES have the shelf-life of a Twinkie; he's a pup still for left-handed relievers.

Alex Gordon's deal: 4 years/$37.5 mil. 12: $6 mil, 13: $9 mil, 14: $10 mil, 15: $12.5 mil. Player option in 2016 is for $12.5 mil #Royals
