What on earth are you watching? KU ran the weave for about three minutes in the last part of the game to run down the clock. The rest of the time, this team is penetrating, dishing, moving the ball around the perimeter, finding the open man, and then the open man is making the extra pass for the even more open shot.
This offense is one of the best in the nation, and is predicated on having 7/9 guys in the rotation that can create their own shot. The high screen game is working to perfection with Graham, Mason, Selden, Greene, Svi, and Ellis all able to punish defenders for going either over or under screens.
It's borderline indefensible.
It's not streetball. Street ball is clearing out and letting the ball handler go 1-1. There's no cohesion or ball movement, and certainly no unselfishness, which are the tentpoles upon which this offense is resting.
This team is assisting on shots and not turning the ball over.
