I just think it's a little early to pull him from KO return because we're worried about injury. |
-Another good day for second-year cornerback Steven Nelson, who has come on strong of late. He had a pair of deflections, including one he could have intercepted.
Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt...#storylink=cpy I want to see Nelson outside. I think he can be a solid CB. |

Quick question to the doubters. Can you name one receiver in the history of Chiefs training camp that has done what Hill has done?
One receiver. That's where the hype is coming from. I hate getting overly optimistic about players and wanted to believe in Conley but couldn't do it, for example. Conley is "having a good camp" according to reporters, Wilson too. They haven't had a third of the production this camp as Hill. It's not that we're buying into hype. Hill is actually forcing it. I mean I hope it translates but until we have new information all signs as of this moment point to: future star. Just like Peters last camp. Remember that? "To be honest he's a future star". I forget who said it about Peters but he was right. Peters is our best cornerback prospect since Dale Carter and his ceiling is Hall of Fame. And he's getting smoked. |
I don't know the number, but considering that number of times KC got called for holding on returns... pinning them back deep.. I'm fine with them minimizing their K/P returns.
