Yeah, just in general.

It's not really something I'd recommend watching or seeing.

Would you be able to do some fillings and crowns two days later after witnessing CPR and the patient surviving and improving?

HOnestly, if it was a close friend, it would probably **** me up pretty bad. I've seen it go both ways, it's not fun. Life goes on, so I'd imagine I'd do what I had to do, but it's a bit callous to think it would be a simple decision or thing to do.

Schefty saying league has postponed decision due to focus on Damar. Said maybe positive signs there can move up timeline. Hmmm, seems to be about trying to get PR timing right.

It wasn't some fluke. It was something these guys are going to have to go out and do 100 more times this weekend. People are seriously, seriously underestimating that factor into all this. On here, on TV, on Twitter. This was a truly shocking play because of how routine it was.

Things will get back to normal but I'd bet money everyone on every team is going to feel weird stepping back out there this weekend. I wouldn't be shocked if some guys have a real hard time with contact this weekend. It's going to take a minute to get back in that routine where you're not thinking about that play and the game becomes natural again. Doesn't matter how old they are.

And you are assuming because what happened could have been he had a heart condition or something not related to the play at all. We still don't know that...

Pretty sure there have been multiple ocassion where athletes have had a cardiac event on the field, non contact ones. This could be one.

It wouldn't be easy, especially if they would have died. However, it will be hard whether its 2 days or a week...

Man, that would be weird. I guess I wouldn't be upset about getting a week off to let some guys heal up, though.

Of course, selfishly, I worry that the Bengals wouldn't have anything to play for, pretty much handing the Bills the victory. But if it happens, it happens.

I think that’s what PFT was getting at here. Pats game not even happening.

Edit: nevermind - i’m an idiot.

only the two seed, which is huge

Lot of folks going nuts in this thread now.

Once it became about the players witnessing the CPR and it being a life or death matter, restarting the game in Cincy was unlikely unless Hamlin regained consciousness and could communicate that night or the next morning. Once medical advice was sedation and lower body temp, consciousness would be unlikely until doctors adjusted treatment.

A win gives the Bengals the 2 seed
