HOnestly, if it was a close friend, it would probably **** me up pretty bad. I've seen it go both ways, it's not fun. Life goes on, so I'd imagine I'd do what I had to do, but it's a bit callous to think it would be a simple decision or thing to do.

Schefty saying league has postponed decision due to focus on Damar. Said maybe positive signs there can move up timeline. Hmmm, seems to be about trying to get PR timing right.

And you are assuming because what happened could have been he had a heart condition or something not related to the play at all. We still don't know that...

Pretty sure there have been multiple ocassion where athletes have had a cardiac event on the field, non contact ones. This could be one.

Lot of folks going nuts in this thread now.

Once it became about the players witnessing the CPR and it being a life or death matter, restarting the game in Cincy was unlikely unless Hamlin regained consciousness and could communicate that night or the next morning. Once medical advice was sedation and lower body temp, consciousness would be unlikely until doctors adjusted treatment.
