How many DEs would you rather have for 2023-2025 than Chris Jones? You can trade Jones straight up for any of them, but you only get them for the next three seasons. Salary isn't a consideration, just value to the team.

I got Bosa, TJ Watt and that's it. I would also trade Jones for Micah Parsons, whatever his official position is. I don't know if there are any other defenders I'd trade Jones for over the next 3 years.

Why would salary not be a factor? That’s a huge part of this. DTs don’t make as much as DEs so why on earth would I pay one like a top DE?

Add in Garret, Parsons, and Hutchinson just off the top of my head I’d take today over him. Add in the younger DTs recently having gotten paid as well.
