KU didn't play to their potential today and still won in a very tough environment. Typical Bill Self team in terms of toughness and resolve.

Congrats.

It's almost boring being a KU basketball fan.

Ceej 12-22-2012 05:45 PM

Gracious of you, Nutz.

They just need a backup PG who doesn't turn the ball over every few minutes he has it and actually gives an effort defensively. He's been able to do that over the last few games. Anything on top of that is extra.

You forgot to finish that sentence.

Of course I wouldn't because I can recognize poor play from good play or just okay play, unlike Laz, who just wants to whine to hear himself whine.

Tharpe was awesome today.

I know we all would love to see perfection but they're college kids. Not pro's. They're learning as they go. They beat a top ten team and a team ranked above them... on the road... even by missing free throws and committing too many turnovers... and they still dominated the second half. They're one of the elite teams in the nation... again.

Some people should get some perspective imo. If you're going to bitch about everything that isn't perfect you're going to bitch every game and miss the enjoyment of watching another great team and great season. Be glad you weren't rooting for the team that couldn't hit a shot to save their lives, was obviously gassed and could hardly even get the ball inbounds.

This is an awesome take. :thumb:

And I would even submit that we dominated the first half. The only thing that kept OSU in this game was stupid errors (TOs) in the first half and some questionable foul calls in the second half. Really, this should have been a blowout.

It should have been a blowout, you're right. As it is we were up by as many as 12 late in the game even playing less than perfect. I agree about the first half too. When the starting 5 where in we were dominant. A team like OSU isn't going to just let you run them out of their own buiding. Hell I didn't even expect to win today so I'm extremely impressed. They have composure and resiliency. Another Bill Self team. Love being a Jayhawk.

For those or you with Cox and in the Topeka/Wichita area North plays McPherson on 22.

My first time watching Frankamp ball it up.

Yeah, tharpe proved me wrong. Hopefully it is a trend and not a 1 game anomaly.

Xavier wearing Sandy Hook jerseys today was a nice touch. Then they get upset by Wofford.

so if i say 2 players play very well and 2 players played bad, i'm just trying to her myself whine?

I prefer to call it realistic

Hey ... you're a homer, i understand. Honesty and reality hurt your delicate sensibilities. It's ok.
