Being single in Minneapolis blows. There are lots of cool, intelligent, attractive women here...but they're all married. Since I work long and unpredictable hours, I joined Match.com, and the few women there that meet my standards are probably bombarded by dozens of messages a day. It's like a damned meat market, and I'm lucky to hear back from a small fraction of the people I actually reach out to. God forbid, I am going to have to find some dumb broad to bang?

I'm taking a new girl to a concert where I originally bought the tickets for me and my girlfriend. It feels dirty and for some reason I feel shame.

Both guys & girls wait longer. A lot of the girls I've been dating recently have focused on their careers and put off serious dating until late 20s. For example, doctors have to go through 12 years of education (undergrad, med. school, residency). Once they start really working and getting their lives back they're 30. :eek:
