The rest is just depth.

90% of the offseason will/should be about the defense.

And they need to figure out the RT position. Niang won't be back that quickly, Wylie is a FA and they don't really have any other options right now.

Not a HUGE need by any means but still a need.

I was just about to post the same thing...maybe a RT depending on what they think of Niang other than that yep.

The RPO gives Mahomes too much freedom, IMO. He's still young and learning - by giving him all that power, he's making mistakes by being too aggressive.

He'll learn to rein that in but in the meantime, they need to add more certainty to the play calling.

When was the last time the RPO resulted in a Run or Option? Seems like it has been a pass virtually every time this season.

Yep.

Reading up on Niang's injury it could take a year to fully heal if it ever does. It is a bad injury. So definitely will need to address the RT position.

And that's the problem with a QB like Mahomes. Dude is going to want to pass the ball if it's up to him.

Plus...guess what? That two deep shit is going to stop happening so much if you can run the ball and hit play action off of it.

I can foresee teams rushing 2 & dropping 9 into coverage with a spy on Mahomes.

Why?

Andy is too hardheaded to keep running the ball because he doesn’t like running it & he doesn’t fully trust his RB’s. Teams are going to keep testing the patience of Mahomes until he finally shows he won’t have anymore second half’s like he did vs the Bungles.

Draft a Kareem Hunt clone & commit to running the ball instead of pussyfooting around with it.

It isn't just Andy. It's Mahomes too.

Just re-sign Wylie and Remmers and you have plenty of T depth.

Remmers has back issues. No thanks.

I'm not saying that they need to draft a guy high for the RT position but it can't be ignored.

Going to get a lot of hate with this comment but Mahomes biggest weakness is he doesn't trust his eyes while in the pocket. He loves to do the scramble and make the plays outside of the pocket. It's not entirely a bad thing but then you have what happened against the Bengals. Multiple times he had open guys while in the pocket and he decided to run around and create time instead of trusting himself. He obviously did a lot better this season but went back to Tech Mahomes too much.

As long as they go cheap, I really don’t care. I just don’t think we should be spending a lot of money or a high draft pick on one.
