This will only be the third time (with Patrick), should the Chiefs lose on Sunday. We already know that this was a down year, we are playing with house money. Our floor is the AFCCG, that is your best with Lamar... Just stop trying to equate Patrick with Lamar...

Soft. Either be the bully or don't. This wishy washy BS that "if we lose it was a down year" but "if we win we told you so" is weak. Are you the man who knocks or not? Because you all keep telling me you are, and yet you're simultaneously trying to hedge your bets that if you lose it's "house money." Get outta here with that.

Craig Carton just said we are going to get curb stomped in Baltimore.

Love being the underdog.

Acting like DVOA is "reasons" is such a weird take. DVOA is an attempt to go beyond "reasons" and actually add heft to vacuous opinions that NPCs like the hordes on this message board regurgitate. It's not perfect, but it's something.

Answer the questions...

The Ravens don't have a window. There's no sense of urgency. They've been in contention for the entirety of the franchise's history. We're not the hapless Bills.

If an offense that rolled into the playoffs with Zay Flowers as a rookie, 31-year-old Odell Beckham Jr., Isaiah Likely, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill loses to the defending champions in the AFC title game, I'll chalk it up to another good season and look forward to next year because I know the Ravens will be back as they always are.

Shit, missed the most obvious one... too early in the morning, apologies and thank you.

Much better. Thank you!

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but the Ravens did get an extra day of rest while KC didn't play their Divisional game until Sunday night (to say nothing of the bye the Ravens had). Something to keep an eye on in the 2nd half of the game.

The Chiefs, in the last 6 years, have played 20+ games each season... We good...

The glazing is insane. Obsessing over a guy like this biases you to the point that you can't see what's right in front of you. If you don't recognize the brilliance of Lamar Jackson because you're so consumed with fluffing Mahomes, that's your loss. Lamar is the only player ever to win the Heisman and the MVP twice. He is revolutionizing the game in many ways. Yes, you are the champs and you deserve all of the respect like I've said dozens of times. But there's a whole wide world out there beyond your guy.

:D

Oh, buddy.

You guys.

Phil Simms got into this on the radio last week. Basically said that it’s a made up fan thing. These guys have all beat each other to hell for 20 weeks, 24 hrs here or there means nothing to them.

An extra day of prep is the only difference I could see. Although in practice, the opponent still isn't set until the next game goes final. And I suspect that both of these teams did prep work for each other just in case during week 18 when they didn't play their starters.

Yup. He looks like a ****ing JAG after watching Kelce every week. Likely is a fluke joke too

Honestly don’t let that keep you from coming back. Yes you can expect hostility, but it probably won’t be any different than any other message board when a team loses (except for the antifreeze and AIDS fire). Absorb the anger and abuse from some and you will be just fine. This place is unique and once you get used to it, you will find that it’s not the cesspool that other places accuse us of.
