It takes something pretty special for me to pull the "classless winner" flag. Its not a team's job to stop themselves from being sucessful.

I didn't see any problems in this case.

Crap, if MU had a team, the subs wouldn't have been in to start with .

DJay23 02-18-2006 07:45 PM

I wasn't home for the game, but looking at all the post game info, it would appear that KU has clinched 1st round bye in the Big XII tournament with this win:

Big 12
Team Conf. W-L Tot. W-L
Texas 10-1 22-3
Kansas 10-2 19-6
Oklahoma 8-4 17-6
Colorado 7-5 17-6
Texas A&M 6-6 16-7
Nebraska 6-6 16-9
Texas Tech 6-6 14-12
Kansas St. 5-7 14-9
Iowa St. 4-8 14-11
Missouri 4-8 11-12
Oklahoma St. 3-8 13-12
Baylor 2-10 2-10

Even if we lose the 4 remaining games, and A&M, Nebraska, and Tech win all 4, we would be tied with them, but we have tie breakers giving us the higher seed.

When the game got switched after halftime, I got distracted by a shiney object and didn't get back to the computer until just a bit ago. I guess it's OK for their fans to be happy with their blowout. 'Course, give them a HC, take away all the distractions over the last week, and had the players actualy felt like they had a reason to play, it may not have been a blowout.

Actually, even a loss to KS may be the best thing for the Tigers. The program is taking a lot of heat right now. The more heat, the closer things will be looked at, and the more apt changes could occur. Currently, the AD's job is quite unstable. And according to news reports coming out of Columbia, the curators aren't too happy with things and are launching their own investigation. Could it be that even Floyd could be in the hot seat now? Things could get interesting and having MU's most hated rival handle our team like this can only help right now.

...Didn't get to see or hear the game, but I'm glad KU won. I can't wait until the K-State game.

If you did shots between each post, do you think you would reach 25k tonight?
