Couglin's mantra with Eli, is don't turn the ball over, and manage games. This has been talked about extensively in every single Giants game I have watched this year. That is his number one priority.

Spagnuolo comes from Jim Johnson's coaching tree. Jim Johnson is about as aggressive of a coordinator as there is in the NFL.

I don't know anything about front office people. I do like Spagnuolios as head coach though.

Here's what concerns me most. I think there are a lot of awesome coaches who just weren't meant to ever be head coach material. As a head coach, you become more removed from the X's and O's and it becomes more important how you manage your staff and players. I just see Ryan as a guy his players will learn to hate. I'm saying that I think it's interesting that lots of other teams have known about Ryan for years, but nobody's approached him for an interview. Seems a lot like Monte Kiffin, Jim Johnson, and Al Saunders. These seem to be guys that GMs believe are real good coordinators who wouldn't be or wouldn't want to be good head coaches.
