If you don't think he's going to get paid as much as the top QB's in the league, you're crazy. |

2. It's ****ing reeruned to just look at the guaranteed money, when other QBs have monster contracts that may not get paid in full, but most certainly pay them more than $6M a year. For reference sakes, last year Big Ben made $27M, Jamarcus Russell made $17M, Romo made $13M, Peyton made $12M......this was all earned last year. Cassel's $6M a year contract will not earn him the 2nd most amount of money of QBs next year. Absolutely ridiculous attempt by you. |
I think 36 is a ridiculous ton of money if that's guaranteed, but if you complain about that then you have to complain about the money Stafford and Sanchez are getting too. It's pointless.

I'm reserving judgment, but it only says $36 million guaranteed. It may be a $70 million contract with bonuses and such.

Not my choice but wish Matt the best for the Chiefs sake.

If it's a regular 6 36 deal it's fine if it's 36 in guarantee's it's absurd.

That said, rookie contracts need capping. |
