Yes, it still was.

It was then and it is now.

thats the kind of swing I want to see on 3-0, if your not taking all the way, then hit out over a wall, fair or foul doesnt matter.

Again, it was Bloomquist....what were you expecting out of him? A ground ball that maybe doesn't move the runner? We have been struggling for runs all year. Just saying

I expect a manager that knows what the **** he's doing. Nothing more, nothing less.

Beerfund 04-29-2009 07:45 PM

Don't be a hater, bro. All that matters is that in the end, it worked. Look at it this inning!

That third baseman is getting slaughtered!

a 3 run inning says it wasn't a bad call.....

DeezNutz 04-29-2009 07:46 PM

If the bunt would have worked as Hillman expected, this inning would have been over and no runs would have scored.

I have to agree, I would have called a bunt in that situation.

See my last post.

The 3 run inning is further evidence for why that was the wrong call.

Not true. The guys came up with a man on 3rd and were trying to get the SAC fly. They probably don't do that if a runner is on 2nd.

Just saying
