Continue to get better?

Are you claiming that they've improved in any phase of the game during this season?

If so, are you sure that you're watching the Kansas City Chiefs?

Anybody that expected Pioli to add 53 players that gel in one off-season, where only fooling themselves and has ZERO to do with hatred for Carl and/or Herm.

Um, I ****ing realize it's going to take time but JFC, how about a little progress?

45 new players yet none are impact players? Three wins?

What about all the ****ing HORSESHIT that was going on in here where people stated we'd win more games on "COACHING ALONE".

How's that working?

First year guys?

Who are these "First Year Guys" you speak of?

Are you referring to the WORST DRAFT CLASS IN CHIEFS HISTORY?

Or the bumble****s in the front office and on the sidelines that are leading this team?

I think it only realistic to expect Pioli and Haley to have growing pains. Particularly with the POS they had given to them as a team.

Then I'd like for you to explain why Josh McDaniels and Rick Xander are both first timers, yet they're headed to the playoffs.

While you're at it, please explain how Tom Dimitroff and Mike Smith, both first timers, took a 3-13 team to the playoffs last year with an 11-5 record.

I'll be waiting.

If the Chiefs were looking for a QB that could not run a Pro Style Offense, they had that in Tyler Thigpen. And he was free.

Cassel's a ****ing joke.

Needs? Are you ****ING kidding me?

Are you telling me that on a roster that was decimated of talent, that a 5 Tech, 3-4 defensive end was NEEDED with the #3 overall pick?

JFC. If you're serious then...****, I don't even know what to say without telling you to walk into an AIDS Tree or to kill yourself.

I'm conflicted.

I seriously doubt, we pick O-line with our top pick this year, as well. I don't find fault in going with who you think is the best player, at a position of need. All things being equal, the D-line needed to be addressed, every bit as much as the O-line.

Yeah, those D-line picks are working out famously. 500 yards a game.

LMAO

Please explain because all I see is an incompetent offense and probably the worse Chiefs defense in YEARS.

And I believe Dane just summed it up.

googlegoogle 12-17-2009 08:04 PM

All of those coaches mentioned would have failed this year.

Tell me what they would have done. stupid article.

Josh has a shitload of talent to work with compared to us.

Are you saying the expectation is to go from 2-14 to 11-5 in one year with the kind of team we had?

Merry Christmas, Dane. Merry ****ing Christmas. I love your rants, man, but I can't tangle with you tonight if you're looking to piss and moan. I'm patiently waiting, you're impatiently waiting. You know what we have in common? We're both waiting for the team to get better. I think they'll get there. Call it gut instinct.

I do see your point, because it's obvious the team sucks, but I believe they actually have some semblence of direction and an overall goal of improving the franchise from the ground up. I can't be so quick to write off Pioli and his pedigree in the NFL, that would foolish-his resume speaks for itself and I won't dismiss it, his first season as our GM, I believe he's earned more than that.

Bullshit.

They went out and signed MORE free agents than ANY team in the NFL. They traded their supposed "Franchise QB" for a former 4th rounder and picks. People around here "laughed" at the Broncos moves (I did not). They now have Chicago's first rounder in the 2010 draft and will be good for years.

NOT because of what was left behind but because of what was added and HOW McDaniels and Mike Nolan have coached up that team.

I'm stating that I would have like to have seen PROGRESS.

I would have to have seen IMPROVEMENT FROM WEEK TO WEEK.

This team is NO better than it was in Week One and quite honestly, they may have been better in week one than they are in week 14.

What is it? And please don't use any of the bullshit cliches that Pioli would use: "looking for the right 53", "building a foundation", "trusting the process".

What's the direction? I see a stagnant franchise that's regressing, if anything.

I'm not going to dismiss Pioli after year one. I'm not happy with the direction he's taken with the team and HOPE he has a plan.

Haley, on the other hand, can just GO. He hasn't shown the propensity of being a solid head coach. He hasn't grown over the course of the season. The QB and the offense have both gone backwards over the course of the season.
