If the owner would like to go out and hire someone who is going to bring us that championship QB, then great... |

This whole thing is confusing. I don't think anyone really knows what Pioli is doing. |

Demoff said that during his press conference after Spags and Devaney were fired. |

2- Using a 3 (of 1st) on T-Jax. Bigger problems than his hiring Haley. |

I think you're exaggerating on the T-Jax pick. In hindsight, it wasn't a horrible pick, especially when you look at all the fail in the top 10 (including Sanchez). That class might very well have been one of the worst draft classes in recent memory. |
So if we bring back Cassel and he brings in McD and the Chiefs win 8 or less games next year, is Pioli fired?

Cassel is not great, but I don't have a problem with him. We gave up a second rounder for a average starting QB. He's not going to win you games on his own, and the Chiefs have had a whole bunch of QBs just like him, but the Chiefs had NOBODY at the start of 2009. He's equal to or better than Mark Sanchez, so I'm glad we didn't go that route. Maybe I'm being to easy on Pioli saying we could have done worse, but it's true. |
If Piolis plan was bring in Cassel as a leader and spot holder until the roster gets built up, thats fine.
Just don't understand why he paid him that much. Also if thats the case, go get your qb now then. For some reason I don't think this was the case however. |

Pioli should have known Cassel was a very rough work in progress. And that being said, should have made a significant effort to bring in a young QB to legitimately compete. He waited 3 years to do that, and even then, waited until the 5th round. |
