I'm waiting on the response "quit looking at stat sheets"

Outside of his yardage (which was attained throwing it 650 times at 6.9 ypc) what did he do that was impressive this year? At 25 or whatever mil per year, he better get used to that type of talent around him.

So looking at the stat sheet, again, what was so impressive? 20 turnovers? 44 sacks? Lowest td total since his second year in the league?

And essentially, that ALL HAPPENED BECAUSE HE LOST ONE GUY.

Julio Jones.

People make all these claims about "Matt Ryan needs elite talent around him to win" and "Alex Smith is the better player"

While failing to acknowledge that we had 10 probowlers and couldn't hold a 28 point lead in the playoffs.

And that's on our qb how?

Seems to me that's more about those defensive "pro bowlers" shutting themselves

Ouch.

But yet, when he lost Julio Jones, their entire team went to shit. Despite having All Pros Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, and Stephen Jackson.

Meanwhile, Alex Smith loses Jamaal Charles 6 plays in, and puts up over 400 yards of total offense, and 3 TDS.

not to mention that the Chiefs then lost Flowers, Houston, Charles back up in Kniles Davis, and oh, the Chiefs had Kendrick Lewis. Every opposing teams 12th man.

Oh, and yes, HE DID BLOW A HUGE LEAD. They were up huge on the Seahawks two years ago. But, they ended up winning the game anyways. But, of course his wr made the clutch play, the Chiefs all world wide receiver, couldn't stay in bounds.

Roddy White was injured all year. Steven Jackson was hurt most of the year.

That team was so severely lacking in talent that they literally treated Tony Gonzalex like a punt coverage gunner on almost every play. They had 2 guys to press him at the line consistently because they didnt respect anyone else on that offense (except maybe Harry Douglas, who had over 1000 yards)

And when all those guys come back healthy, Matt Ryan is still 1 and done in the playoffs...

Please, try to pay attention.

He didnt only lose 1 guy, he lost 80% of his teams good players from 2012 or what they started 2013 with.

Baker
Jackson
Clabo
Abraham
Jones
White
Grimes
Weatherspoon

There are more, but I'm just going off memory.

I wasn't the first to mention Alex Smith.

I wasn't even the third to mention Alex Smith.

Sorry to disappoint.

For what purpose? I don't get into Internet cock-measuring contests.

So when his contract upticks an they are forced to play with lineups like that, what's the plan?

BossChief 02-01-2014 02:38 PM

His contract going up 2 million dollars is gonna cost them 7 or 8 high quality starters?

BTW...wanna know who has the same agent as Matt Ryan?
