It wasn't just one practice, either...it was like they were lining up to kick Eric Fishers ass last training camp.

LT was the consensus strongest position and we were not keeping Albert. So yeah it's poor planning like that that leads to failure. Good teams replace old talent with new talent.

Fisher not looking good is very troubling though. No doubt about it

Stephenson is getting too much love imo. He wasn't very good the other night and he wasn't that great last year. I specifically remember when we played the Colts in Arrowhead they started Mathis lining up over Fisher. He couldn't do anything on that side so they put him on Stephenson and he absolutely owned him. Stephenson got so frustrated he had a holding penalty and possibly a personal foul. If seems like he tried to trip him or something? Mathis is good but the point is that Stephenson isn't that great. Hell, he gave up a sack against Carolina and Fisher didn't. Why does Donald get so much love when he's just OK?

I mean, Fisher, Allen and Fulton were terribad. Maybe that's what's making Stephenson appear to be pretty decent.

That was the excuse used for Fisher all of last year, it's just as valid for Stephenson. Stephenson has been a LT almost all of his adult life.

Filling the hole at LT with a DIRT CHEAP 3rd round pick that is "OK" is infinitely better than plugging it with a super expensive #1 overall pick that SUCKS ASS.
