Notice the names tied with, or ahead of Bowe:

Cruz

But Bowe's the shittiest starting WR in the league...

And most of them have a **** ton more targets than he does...

I really can't stand the term "game manager."

Conservative QBs shouldn't get lumped in with game managers.

It's this simple... if you consistently convert on third downs, rise to the occasion in the second half even if your defense falters, and play like nails late in close games... game manager. If you don't do any of those things, how the hell is that game management? Game managers are a great thing but only if we stop making it a catch-all for QBs who don't get the job done.

I am seeing Smith as more and more of a game manager this season. But I'm not sold on him being a good one until he more consistently closes games. His third down efficiency this year, however, has been an extremely welcome development.

Because they have a ****ing QB that will repeatedly ****ing target them no matter what the situation.

Charles also has a drop. So Kelce, Knile, Bowe, Fasano, Charles equal 11 of the Chiefs 14 drops.

... and it's not even "drops" by number. It's the lack of WR101 that requires the WR separate from coverage. Bowe has had many knocked-loose passes that don't count as drops. Why? because he doesn't attack the football or come back to the ball when he has a DB in his back. So the DB sticks a hit or hand in and jars the ball loose.. some because Bowe catches with his body.

It's frustrating enough to have these issues... but then, you look at the 14 mil per year contract?

These incompletions are not labeled drops... but they really should be.

All players need to get into a rhythm.

HB's, QB's, WR's, all need that feel.

Our offense is schitzo and that only makes the problems we have even worse...

Bowe got PAID after his efforts with Cassel. Now, Bowe plays hard and focused when it suits him.

Bowe has 2 games where's he's been targeted 7 or more times, if I'm reading it right.

In those games he has 10 catches for about 170 yards. Throw the guy the ball more

Prove it. Show me where Bowe doesn't run his routes like Moss used to do. Or how about where Bowe isn't blocking for people. Prove it or shut the **** up. You continue to talk like you know ANYTHING about this team. You know about Alex Smith and that's it. I would take penbook as a ****ing poster here over you. I'd rather listen to Roy....

O.city 10-23-2014 05:02 PM

Bowe has 27 targets this year. He's averaging 14 yards per catch.

He needs more targets

Stopped reading here, since you can't seem to settle on a stat.

The link you posted claims 7.7%.

Now you're upping that by another 2%.

In another 50 posts, KC WR's will be dropping 25% of the passes thrown to them.

There was an article on Arrowheadpride that had the drop percentage as the worst in the NFL around 9% ahead of the Niners around 7% or so. I don't know why it's a different number than what is here on PFF but that is what Sandy was referencing. I'm trying to find it and repost - as if it matters. :)
