Are you really rolling with the 1938-39 season where TCU eeked out a thrilling victory over the juggernaut Carnegie Tech Tartans in the Sugar Bowl? If so, then yes, it's even more of a stretch than some of our claimed basketball championships.

Well since you asked; and since the era means little to you in this argument...

1891 - 7-0-1 (technically counts since you said "undefeated")

1899 - 10-0

1908 - 9-0

Looks to me like we have 2 national championships we should be claiming in football. At first, I didn't care much for your NC standards there KC Native, but this really works in our favor.
