When you consistently score three or fewer runs your margin of error is razor thin, and stuff like that -- and a wild pitch, and a misplayed fly ball, etc -- become magnified.

Captain Obvious stuff, I know, but typing it out is part of my coping mechanism.

That's the frustrating part, same as it was during the Steroid Era.

Well, Alex Gordon being a giant hole in the middle of the lineup isn't helping, either. All of GMDMs signings this season look pretty terrible.

That's a lot of wasted resources.

Soria is the worst of those three, by far. Young is out of position as a starter, and at least Alex still brings his defense with him. But yeah, none of those are turning out too well for Dayton at the moment.

I've gone from feeling confident we'd find a way to win games like this, to feeling sure we're going to lose.

Is it possible this is just bad luck? Or is he making worse pitches?
