The media is a business ran on traffic, eyeballs, and clicks... they are sensational because that's what drives eyeballs into today's social media.

Soon, most mainstream mediocrity will be irrelevant.

Reek’s life is a mess and Hunt’s wasn’t much better. Why are you blaming the messenger? It’s not the media’s job to cover up their inability to keep it between the ditches. If media outlet A covers it up, outlets B, C, and D are going to run the story.
