The first Chiefs quarterback to go over 4,000 yards. #9, Bill Kenney.

Yeah, I was out of town today and just got home. We can't let this get away. We got it covered though.

Yeah, not much going on with the #9 jersey for us. I think Brady Quinn had it too. Didn't realize Kenney threw for 4K!!!! Good find Mr. Rainman.

It's a while since we saw Nick Lowery kicking field goals in the number 8. How sad is it that the best to ever wear a number that was worn by quarterbacks was a kicker?? SMH

And now we're down to number 7. A number that brings back horrible memories. Matt Cassel, you still suck!!

Cassel finished his career in Kansas City with only 19 wins and 28 losses in four years. His tenure ended with banners flying overhead calling for him to be benched. In his fourth year, he went 1-7 as a starter with a 66.7 passer rating.

Butler is still young, but I like him much better in the 7 than Casshole.

Is it sad this is really the only play that I can remember from the Matt Cassel era.

I missed yesterday. The best to wear number 6 was before most of us were around. Ever heard of Warren Mcvea? Mcvea was a part of the Superbowl team, providing them with a well-rounded offensive threat who could rush the ball, catch out of the backfield on occasion and return kicks as well. McVea would be a key offensive piece for the Chiefs Super Bowl run that year, with 106 carries for 500 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns—good for a 4.7 yards/carry average. McVea also averaged 24.5 yards/return that season.
