Maybe they aren't together. The video labels her as "ex-girlfriend". I'd be willing to bet that they're sharing a kid and he doesn't live there. He may have just come to her apartment for some parental thing and it sounds like he got jealous. At one point in the video he says something like, "You don't think (something) will affect our relationship?" as he's beating her up.

Or alternately, I guess they could be living together and she's now the ex-girlfriend after getting beat up.

But I guess my point is that unless someone else has more info beyond the video, we don't really know the relationship status up to that point or his living status.

Just saw this video for the first time after hearing a few friends talking about it for the last week. It has garnered a bit of news coverage, but not nearly as extensive as it should be. Can you imagine if the races were reversed? 24/7 coverage on ESPN, celebrities/politicians condemning the white NFL player and at the very least a domestic battery fund set up for the black victim from the NFL. No ****ing way he's offered bail. If you argue none of this would happen you're a head-in-the-sand-imbecile. I'm not saying this piece of shit should be treated any worse than any other domestic abuser because of his race, just pointing out the hypocrisy and how society reacts. People claim they want equality, but really only if it benefits minorities. This country is ****ed.

Yes it is... until people get sick of this shit and start standing up against it.

The thing that struck me, no pun intended, is how familiar this woman seemed to be with his behavior. Most women would be screaming and crying. This was far from her first beat down from this animal.

One time my black friend "T" delivered me a package by sending his hot girlfriend and her Russian friend over. They were quite obviously DTF so I called T and said "dude?". He said they were mine to do what I wanted. But their time isn't free. To which I politely declined.

Maybe he's referencing something like that.
