Great ****ing pickup, I honestly think he is a stud and a much better hitter than we have had back there

This is the type you wanna spend on as well. Young and still has potential to outplay the deal.

He will be great for us in the run game, and In no way a liability in the pass defense. |
Sirius XM just takes about yesterdays moves and called Justin Reid the most underrated bc of age, ability and cost

If we get the Reid of the first 2 years it's a steal. If we get the version of the last couple of years, not so much, he really hasn't been that good on an admittedly awful team. I'm fairly ambivalent to this. But we're younger, faster and more physical - and possibly cheaper, so here's hoping.

For those who have been around a few years, you know that "Gunslingiest" has a contact that sometimes feeds him stuff (he's been right on news a number of different times).
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Per my dude: Justin is the most impactful signing Chiefs could’ve made. Elite player, solid leader. Worry was Tyrann staying elite physically.</p>— The Gunslingiest (@RedMamba707) <a href="https://twitter.com/RedMamba707/status/1503736872689979395?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 15, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Also says while Tyrann is more opportunistic and better in the box, Justin’s coverage skills are far superior at this point</p>— The Gunslingiest (@RedMamba707) <a href="https://twitter.com/RedMamba707/status/1503743650777415691?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 15, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Man, 14m/yr for Marcus Williams seems like a good deal. I realize that financial resources are finite, but that seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Sneed is a CB - full stop. And he's damn good at it. What makes him special is that he's one of the rarer types that can play inside or outside with equal aptitude because he has the physicality and quickness to operate in the slot without a boundary and still provide excellent run support OR move outside and run with bigger, physical WRs and not get pushed off his spot. Sneed is just a really good football player and trying to move him to a spot where he's had less success, when he's had great success as a CB, is just unnecessary. |

Thanks for the SB, but I'm not gonna shed a tear watching you pull outta KC |

I think they went with Reid because they wanted to get bigger, faster and younger at the position. It was the right thing to do. |
