So the GME split is supposed to be in the form of a dividend. I'm not sure how you'll track that, but I have faith in you. ;)

Well, that's just weird. I wonder if it's a weird outcome of the shutdown and recovery. It looks like it's a legit company. I have no idea how to value that other than what it says.

Anyway isn't it just basically a stock split they are calling a dividend.? Not sure what the difference is.

Apparently they did a one-time special dividend of 27 percent, so it's at least that. But it's not a guarantee at all going forward that it'll happen again.

I have one stock that did that. FF gave me something like a 23 percent special dividend last year. It's kind of goofy because my account shows that the stock was down by 30+ percent last year, but the return that is presented excludes dividends. The stock really more or less broke even if you count the regular dividend and the special dividend.
