Well, usually teams don't franchise tag players that are capable of playing to a level this low so it typically isn't a problem for them in the first place.

You dumb bitch. 2 of our 7th round draft picks have scored double the touchdowns of your entire team.

You should see that as a sign of hope though. Since your highest draft picks are going to be 7th rounders for the next few years. Let's Ride!

Not sure if that'd work for Brown. If he continues to be trash, though, and Andy thinks the backup would be a better option, he definitely knows best.

Well, of course he does. Andy Reid runs laps around everybody here when it comes to football knowledge. Does every post need that disclaimer or something? It's an internet message board made for plebs to share opinions and discuss the team.

Okay. How many teams pay someone 16mm and then replace them with someone paid - say - 2mm after a couple games to motivate them? Just provide a single example and I’ll concede that it’s a possibility and a real thing.

Imagine doing that and then Mahomes gets injured as a result. It’s the worst idea ever.

You're acting like I suggested Veach bring in some scrub off the street to do it. Christian has been in the organization long enough for Reid to know if he's actually capable of anything above replacement level play. If he isn't, then call up Fisher who has been in the organization for literal years in the past and see where his health and conditioning are at. If neither are an option, grit your teeth and hope for the best from Brown but acknowledge that we definitely need to start doing due diligence on possible replacements regardless.

I think it’s safe to classify Christian and Fisher as scrubs in comparison who would absolutely underperform Brown. 100%.

Agree to disagree then, with the way he's played the first couple of games. I'd at least explore the options.

He might get injured no matter what. He has already taken a ton of hits the first two games of the year. Hopefully they can figure out a way to slow down this trend.

Maybe put Fortson or a bigger WR like Watson down on the line to just chip a bit before running their routes.

Again, not playing Bosa and Mack every week. Nothing really even close to that.

You can gameplan against one guy like Von Miller. Chubb and Gregory aren't anywhere near as good as those 2.

Maybe Chandler Jones and Crosby, but Jones isn't what he used to be, and the Raiders will have even bigger problems with their OL.

As for the Cards game, that was a rare occurrence where the other team blitzed a ton. If teams are going to blitz like that, they're going to hit Mahomes a lot. There are only so many blockers.

Good thing nobody will do that out of fear of getting ass raped.

Sometimes it does need the disclaimer, yes.

Not always. But sometimes, yes. People are giant dbags about this kind of shit on here.

Imagine having a player on a SB contending team, and said player is in a contract year, and there is a legitimate argument to be made about whether benching said player might work to improve his motivation.

Imagine that said player turned down a large contract.

Imagine.

Cause I'm sure having a hard time doing that.
