Mahomes isn't the one who lowered his helmet and delivered a blow to a defenseless WR helmet. That could have been avoided.

I don’t think the NFL announces every fine anymore, I could be wrong. I found this, doesn’t look like week 10 has been added yet. The week column is on the far right of the page, I didn’t see it at first.

Matt Derrick (I think - it was one of the Chiefs pundits) said the fine will come out this Saturday if there is one.

It doesn’t make the game better to watch. What makes the game better to watch is the best players on the field. And teams winning Super Bowl because they were the best not because they were lucky enough to get through the grind without injury. The nfl goes overboard in enforcing that. But there is a good reason these rules exist. Bountygate is a good example of why this exists. If you can’t beat them, knock ‘‘em out is a tonya Harding strategy I can’t stand behind.

Chris Simms has the Chiefs winning the SB and has declared Mahomes the NFL MVP front runner.

But sure, he's a hater i guess.

He tries to be objective as possible. He's not some hot take jockey like Cowherd or an opinion spammer like Thkyiiuuuuuuup.

Occasionally that leads to him saying things like, "I think Josh Allen is currently the best QB in the NFL," which he has said multiple times this very season and as recently as last week.

I won't say he's a hater, but he probably does have CTE.

But how is that not a hot take? Doesn't help that it is demonstrably false.

Saying Josh Allen was/is at any point better than Patrick Mahomes is honestly even dumber/hot takey than the people who said Kevin Durant was better than LeBron James for a few years there because he was on the Warriors.

Imagine Allen on a team with a defense as bad as the Chiefs have had for Mahomes' entire run in KC. Wouldn't end well at all.

Again, I think he's delivering an actual opinion of his.

It's misinformed and stupid, but it's his, not something drummed up or scripted like Skip's fake ass shit

I think the fault really lies with JuJu's mother.

I mean, if she hadn't allowed him to play football, and forced him to play basketball, or made him take piano lessons instead, this hit never happens. Perhaps she should be fined.

Or maybe it was Snoop Dogg's fault. If he hadn't coached Juju and believed in him & his chances to play in the NFL, JuJu would have gotten discouraged, and switched to basketball, or taken up the piano. Perhaps he should be fined.

In the 1970s, NFL Films would have made the hit a centerpiece highlight.
