We may not win the game but this will put the league on notice that we are not weak.

This is probably the worst idea ever

It's a joke. Old guys like me remember the days where this is what happened.

I think we’re going to see points go up on both sides but will never bet against bye week Andy Reid, especially when Cam Sutton and Emmanuel Mosley are the starting corners for the team Reid is facing.

I’m sure Chauncey Gardner-Johnson is hyped for this one, but he’s gonna lose his second straight to the Chiefs.

Doubt you'll see a lot of Moseley. Stupid to throw him out there so soon IMO. Instead, it will be Jacobs, in which doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. Hopefully the deep rotation of the Dline will give Mahomes fits. I pray, at least...

I doubt that. Very hard to give Mahomes fits, plus the Oline (barring injury) will be even better than last year. I like the Lions and hope they have a great season. They could always win this game, and if they do it will definitely be an upset. But just like Philly last year in the SB, the Lions haven't seen a team or QB like this in a long while.

Correct, and I was pulling for you all to do just that for selfish seeding reasons. KC is not Buffalo though. They won the SB last year starting or having 8 rookies play significant minutes. Let's not discount just how much of a difference that makes. This same team that won the SB didn't even lose anyone of significance. They will be tough again.

Josh Allen ain’t Mahomes.

The Bills OL isn’t as good as last year’s Chiefs OL and sure as hell not as good as this one.

And Ken ****ing Dorsey isn’t close to Matt Nagy, let alone Andy Reid, as a play designer and playcaller.

Fully aware Mahomes is #1. Just amped to see how we respond. This is all new stuff to us. You remember, when you were shit for so long.

Not a shot, well maybe...lol

BitterSyd 08-31-2023 04:36 PM

Oh, crap. I typed "lol".

Credibility shot to shit...

Week 1 - Let's talk about the Lions

Talking about almost beating Allen is still way better then Eagles fans talking up their defense after beating Jones and whatever that was the 49ers threw out there when trying to convince people they would slow down Mahomes.

Personally, I have high hopes for DET this season. other than Week 1, I hope the Lions have a great year.

For Week 1, I sincerely hope the game is very competitive. DET and their fanbase need to see a solid performance against the SB champs. Would be a good start to their season.

Chris Jones is pretty significant. JuJu was your leading wideout. Team still a very good team, but everyone has significant roster loses year to year.

Chris Jones’ status is still uncertain but yes, a major loss if he doesn’t play (and less than his usual form even if he does).

I know Smith-Schuster is a name, but don’t be surprised when one of Skyy Moore/Rashee Rice/Richie James fills the role and targets he got and is better than him.

He was productive for KC, but it was less about him being physically impressive and more about him filling the role in the offense, being schemes open, and having a solid feel against zone coverage.
