It would be ****ing hilarious if the Steelers managed to win that game, but glorious beyond words if the Chiefs ended their season again.

Oh yes, as hilarious as it would be to see the Bills lose an ugly one to the Steelers, the maximum potential for petty joy would be ending the Bills season in Buffalo.

Yeah, it's largely what many expected (present company included)... except that we'd see it earlier than this week while not seeing bullshit like the Raiders game so late in the season.
Give Moore, Toney, CEH chances to prove themselves while keeping guys like Rice and Pacheco healthy for the real season... and then narrow down the receiver rotation, Playoff Mahomes enters the chat and is both dialed in and taking more chances running the ball, defense does what it does.
The biggest surprise was Kelce's three drops... thought he'd be another 'flip the switch' guy, but still had 70 yards though.

Yeah, this is the playoff Chiefs I expected. They were a little more crisp, a little more urgent, just a little more.
I doubt they emptied the playoff playbook for that one. There's some new stuff they'll have in the tank for the next few weeks that works off of what they've shown recently.

this is a down year with a "broken" Mahomes. If we win it all, hoooo boy. How much did you hate the prime patriots, or the broncos? that's gonna be us lol. you go to a different town and you wear your chiefs shit and people hope the plane you're on crashes or you step on an aids needle at the beach.
it's going to be glorious

Oh, it would ramp up the inevitability. And be worse for opposing fans in some ways.
With the Patriots, every year they won it was with a team structured like this. Great D. Smart offense led by a QB who made plays when it mattered and was just always really smart.
If the Chiefs win it this year, they will have won 3 Super Bowls with three very differently constructed teams.
2019 was still all about the offense, wide-open passing attack, weapons, big-plays, and a defense that was tough and able to do just enough.
2022 was more about balance and efficiency. Good defense, an offense that had an answer for everything.
2023 would be about a dominant defense, a great QB elevating an offense, and winning with balance and relying on the D.
