We've seen him peter out in the playoffs before. He's not invincible.

Hell, just look at the 2nd half of the 2020 AFC CG - we bottled his ass up.

Man whichever QB loses this game is going to get meme’d into oblivion all offseason.

I think Lamar has more to lose here since he’s accomplished more (MVP’s) and would continue to have a losing playoff record.

If Lamar loses this game he’ll likely have as many MVP’s as playoff wins LMAO

pugsnotdrugs19 01-16-2025 09:13 AM

Lamar has more to lose Sunday, and Allen will have more to lose in a potential AFCCG

If Bills lose to Baltimore, a lot of ppl will throw blame at the roster and McDermott

If they beat Baltimore and prove the roster is far from a problem, then the pressure shifts to Josh to finally beat Patrick in the playoffs and make his first SB

I think the Bills have more to lose in this.

I don’t think Lamar will get the blame as long as he doesn’t completely shit the bed. The Media was defending him against the “running back” accusations long before he deserved to be defended.

Josh Allen on the other hand has a completely empty trophy case. No MVPs and no signature playoff wins. He may well fall to third in the AFC QB hierarchy if he loses to Lamar. What does he really have on Lamar if he loses?

Apparently Bills/Ravens fans think that whoever wins this game wins the SB. Apparently KC’s just an afterthought.

TinyEvel 01-16-2025 11:42 AM

Both teams are playing hot to finish the season. Sunday will be my most anticipated non-chiefs game this year by a mile.

I'm leaning slightly toward hoping to face the Ravens, just because ewe seem to do a good job of containing Derrick Henry and I think he's been pretty key in their dominance this year.

Josh Allen is doing his best impression of Mahomes this year. That 4th down TD run against us has me bugged.

And both fanbases, especially the Bills fans, wanted to play the Chiefs last year. Some people just never learn.

Sunday night will be the coldest game of Lamar Jackson's career and it may not be all that close.

IIRC, he was complaining about being cold during a game or practice on Hard Knocks a few weeks ago and it was like 35 that day.

It ultimately allowed KC to rest their starters...and the Chiefs to avoid the media circus of an undefeated season.

Another inconsequential story line that seemed important at the time....but will forgotten.

Bills beat KC every regular season...it's what they do. Chiefs used to beat the eventual SB winners too...beat both one season (Seahawks/Patriots).

Baltimore just got an edge.

Allen loses in the Divisional round every year and he still gets pumped up.

Only memories of playoff Henry. Is him on the sidelines drawfing the backups he's standing with
