Well, I am going out now for the evening.
Again, full props to OSU. Major asskicking. No excuses. And I wish them well against the South. Perhaps we'll get a shot at redemption against them in December. |

Damn.
Just got home and saw the news. Sorry 'Zou fans. WTF happened? Assuming the defense played decent from the score, but WTF happened to the offense? Turnovers? Were they looking ahead to Texas? |

College football's changed. And it's for the better, IMO. |
OMG. This means that KU and KSU are in a battle for first in the North.... God help us all!!!

Just finished it. OSU put together a good game plan, and Mizzou made some uncharacteristic mistakes. Good luck to Mizzou next week in Texas. I'll be watching my team get their collective asses handed to them by a thoroughly pissed off Okalhoma team.

Mizzou beat themselves.
I give it up to OSU because they did play well. However, I still think they will lose at least 2 possibly 3 games. I take nothing away from them tonight. It's a huge win and gives them something to build on. They have a really rough road ahead. Pinkel is obviously a hell of a recruiter but I'm still not sold on him as a coach. The play calling was very vanilla tonight. They didn't seem to adjust to what OSU was doing at all. It seems there are no sure wins in the Big 12 anymore. Makes it a lot of fun to watch. |
I seriously hated that 3rd and 12 TD pass, where 2 guys got behind our safeties...god

That and ESPN is full of jackasses. (Mark May, Lee Corso, etc) |

I never used to jump on MU after a loss. But if you go back and look at the KU/USF game thread, you will understand why this is enjoyable for me to see certain MU fans humbled a bit. Now, there are some quality MU fans, too. And to those, I mean no ill will. But to the ones like frazod that always hang out and wait for KU to lose so that he can bag on the Jayhawks and then act like he is totally innocent of that stuff...... :D ROFL |

We got our asses whipped tonight. I think Chase, Pinkel, and everyone else would tell you the same.
That OSU team came in fired up and ready to knock off the "big dog". Mizzou's not sure how to handle being a big dog, just yet. It's one thing to think about and prepare for team like OU and UT... It's another thing to keep a good team like OSU from biting you in the ass while you do it. |
BTW, KU leads the Big 12 North right now.
To the 'ship! |

How the hell was I obnoxious?? I enjoyed the win over KU last year and hated the loss to OU and hate this loss. I'm fine, enjoy it man. |
Unfortunately, the conference includes the jayhawks. It would be a more respected conference without that school.

Doesn't make me any less of a fan, IMO. |
Maybe I've too far out on that limb.
It's not really a school, is it? |

We lost and deserved to lose. However, it appears that last pick wasn't really a pick. I didn't think it was when it happened in real time.

a tough loss to swallow for sure, i was thinking our one loss would be at Texas. It certainly doesn't mean we're out of the big 12 championship race and possibly the NC race as well. Look what has happened the last 3 weeks to top 5 teams. It just puts that much more pressure on mizzou to go perform like a championship caliber team next week in texas. I guess we'll see if chase and co have the gumption to pick themselves up after a tough loss and get prepared to face memorial stadium.

I said that to all my buddies here. And they wouldn't back me up by showing that angle again. I mean, I'm glad I was wrong ;) but still. |

not surprising the refs made that call. The Ncaa doesn't want anyone but USC and Flordia in the title game

Please, that Gayhawk bitch is an embarrassment to this forum. To contend there are equals to him shows how out of touch with reality you are. I guess you lost it a few years back along with your ability to maintain a boner. |

Usually I really don't give a shit if the chiefs lose when Missouri wins... now tomorrow I will be grasping for the chiefs to not lose the bye week.
|
In any case... at least you ****ers will be excited about KU/MU at Arrowhead now.
And here i thought you'd just given' up. You seem to have a little more fight in ya. |
