Silock 02-21-2010 08:06 PM

This game is ****ing INTENSE.

Bearcat 02-21-2010 08:07 PM

God save us all from ice dancing.

What channel are you guys watching hockey on? I've got skiing and ice dancing over here.

Brodeur looks shaky to me. Luongo might be the better option at this point in their careers.

Canada has outplayed USA considerably in the 1st two periods. The difference has been Ryan Miller...he's great.

Mr. Laz 02-21-2010 08:11 PM

shouldn't of there been another penalty for when they canuck threw the U.S. player into the glass after the horn?

this is some good, physical hockey...

I used to be a pretty big Blues fan in the glory days before the strike. However, the strike pretty much turned me completely off of hockey. I sort of miss those days now

Yep... haven't watched much NHL this year, but people were saying he was the hot goalie going into the Olympics. USA is in great shape right now.

He shuts down the Leafs every time they play him. Now he's shutting down the best players in the NHL. There's nobody better currently.

FAX 02-21-2010 08:14 PM

Thanks, Mr. Bearcat and Mr. chiefs1111 ... damn ... I'm overwhelmed by the response.

But, you guys have saved me from watching ice dancing and probably the cost of a couple of years in a mental hospital.

My interest in hockey has re-emerged since Nashville scored the Preds. There's nothing like hockey in the old South.

I switched it over as soon as the ice dancing stuff came on. Watching some dude in chaps and a cowboy hat skating around hardly looked promising.

Bode with gold in super combined.

Yeah, I wish Gary Bettman would be crucified upside down on a burning AIDS cross at halftime of the Super Bowl, but I still love hockey.... if this was being played in a wider international rink, it would be even more open.

I really like this format... basically 3 All Star games today, and then we'll get 3 more rounds starting Wednesday. PBJ

Yeah ... ice dancing is the premium suck. I'd rather watch a dwarf attempt to crucify his penis with a power drill.

FAX

DaFace 02-21-2010 08:23 PM

You have to expect Canada will get at least one goal this period. Hopefully we can weather the storm.

3 All Star games with hitting and intensity. Normal All Star games generally suck to watch.

DaFace 02-21-2010 08:24 PM

Another PP - that'll help.

True, just meant the talent... the actual All Star game is more about entertainment, and obviously no physical play.

I'm kind of a fairweather Blues fan, but I will say this for my (limited) hockey knowledge...

There are few things more stressful than trying to hold on to a lead against a really good team.

half down

A great hockey game thus far.
