Oh and someone said no one would want to come to Iowa State, well Washington States former HC who was with the 49ers during their SB run is VOLUNTEERING.

Weis, who is considered a complete POS coach and ran our program into the ground had a .214 Winning percentage at KU. Wulff was actually worse at WSU with a .183 winning percentage. I can see where the excitement is coming from. |

When's the last time Kansas shut out Texas?
|
Is anyone watching this game? KU is tied with TCU at Ft. Worth with 11:29 left in the 2nd quarter. I know we won't win this but it's nice to see the team playing competitive ball.

"Looking for their first lead since September 12th..." #wherewereyou

Some of the most hilarious false starts I've seen.

Kansas and TCU tied at 10 at halftime. Who would've thought?

Huh? What channel? |

But they have to throw more than 5 yards down the field if they want to keep it close. |
What the hell was Willis doing?
Looks like he was throwing to the defender more than that WR. :( |
Every game against TCU has been close since they joined the converence. Just don't ever have enough plays to win the game.
|
Damn, what a hit!
3rd down stop, we are still in this game!:) |
It would be nice to see a strong finish here vs tcu
|

Well, yeah. Still, that just evens things out a bit. KU has been using their 3rd QB for most of the year. Willis is also just a freshman. |
This is your suprbowl!
Do it |
Crushing KU defense!
|
Nice pass. SMH
|
Goal posts going down twice in one year
(They tore them down when the royals won) Or not interception |
Still time left
|
Nice throw
|
Great stop!
|
Hanging in there lol

KCNitwit is a quivering puddle of nerves right now

David Beaty is learning along with his players. A lot of the decisions he has made this year have been baffling.
|
84 yards to sports center !
Little under 2 minutes to get there |
Awwwww shit how did he drop that fuuuuu
|
Defender barely got a hand in
|
Get up to the line hustle
|
Come on rise to the occasion
|
**** that
If parmalee catches the first Down pass it's a whole different game |
Holy shit these teams suck ass
|
Sorry fellas, would have been cool to see that one go your way

Well, there's always next year!:cuss:
Had our chances, just too many mistakes and failed execution. |

That being said it would have been nice for the seniors to get this win but two more games at home to finish the year and I'm 100% confident this team is going to get one of them. For the rest of the team the freshmen and sophomore players are really starting to become something. Willis, Sims, Booker, Hartzog, Patrick, and Ben Johnson are all getting tons of reps together and will be a force by the time they're juniors and seniors. Beaty has a young o-line that's playing great with the exception of center which you know will be a priority this offseason. On defense it appears that we're getting stronger up the middle. Joe Dineen, Roberts, Olobia, Armstrong, etc are all playing great moving into next year. Goodman and Fish Smithson are the leaders and they're the ones who deserve a victory the most this season to finish their careers are they're going to get it. And they'll both be playing on Sundays. |

I think it's compounded with not having the depth that other teams have. Some decisions that seem to be no-brainers aren't the same for him because of who he has on the field. On the other hand I like how he seems to coach most of the time "as if he had" all these great players instead of doing stupid shit like going for it on 4th and inches from your own 10 (like the announcers were suggesting he do.) The players on the roster don't want to be given the impression that they're outgunned with the coach making dumb moves and taking lots of chances. It's a fine balance as a HC because usually he IS outgunned and HAS TO take lots of chances in order to put his team in a position to win. Next year with going into the season knowing Willis is number 1 is going to make things much better. Hopefully Cozart is working out with the WRs because that's where his future is and I think he can be quite good at it. |
Ugh that sucked. It was nice to show some fight though.
Oh well. KU football, KSU everything, MU everything and our Chiefs are all bad. The Royals and KU basketball are saving the two-state area again. They're the only two championship caliber teams, bless their hearts. |
|
It's nice to see our program trending up while others fall apart...

I never got that either. When he played in preseason games he was great. This is the Chiefs we're talking about though. Personnel had never been their strong suit. |
LOLzors @ the delusional ku fans.

Rumors swirling about Bledsoe coming to KU.
Even Keegan wrote an article on it... http://www2.kusports.com/news/2015/n...u-makes-sense/ |
When does he announce his decision?

I heard he punted on 4&1, down 35-0.

I know the program was left in shambles, but I'm not sure where exactly Beaty has this program trending upward.
Seems to still be declining. |
This game is a shitshow. Time to let Bowen go? The defense today is unacceptable.

Looks like Kane is gone. That sucks. i really like the guy, as I mentioned earlier (I don't know if it was this thread or a previous one). I felt like he was going to be a key part if your guys were gonna turn this thing around. Got the DC gig at Northern Illinois.

BTW, I think we need a new 2016 Kansas Football thread. |
Bledsoe has narrowed his choice to KU or OU.
|
Today's Jayhawk Trivia:
The Outland Trophy - presented to college football's best interior lineman - is named after former Kansas player and coach John Outland. |
So is someone gonna start a 2016 Kansas football thread?

Ok guys!
Some info I just heard in Bledsoe from some people who would know. kU has a legit shot. Here's why. Every other school believes he is eventually going to be a 3, and plan to move him there. kU will let him call his shot, and play DE, where he really wants to stay, so they are legit in the running. |
Quote:
FWIW Matt Scott officially changed his prediction for Bledsoe on Thursday to KU. |
You could use that logic for KU basketball
