So our season is up to a guy who has basically been a collosal bust for us. Then we have to win a game in a place I don't believe we've won in for at least the past 2 seasons. One of those games is against a guy who loses at home about as often as Aaron Rodgers. So, yeah, sorry I'm not super optimistic. I've seen Kuechel without command. We have beat him this year too. It's not ideal, but down 0-1 is still doable. This wasn't a WC game.

I just realized tonight this there is no reason to watch the Royals and Chiefs every move. My very young daughters were confused by my emotions and reactions, as they've never seen me that way. In some ways, it was kind of scary for them, which hit me pretty hard.

I've been a die hard supporter of both teams since I left in February 1993 but it's time for me to acknowledge my current responsibilities. Reading books and watching educational programs is more important than a watching baseball team 2,000 miles a way in a city in which I don't live.

Cueto looked okay his last four starts. Kazmir was a complete dumpster fire at the end. He has not gone more than 4 innings in almost a month.
