It's up to Cueto. Kazmir won't be easy either. |

That's who they are, not the team pre-mid August. |

This is my 46th year with the Chiefs, Royals & Mizzou. I should have learned by now. |

BYE!!!!! |
So our season is up to a guy who has basically been a collosal bust for us. Then we have to win a game in a place I don't believe we've won in for at least the past 2 seasons. One of those games is against a guy who loses at home about as often as Aaron Rodgers. So, yeah, sorry I'm not super optimistic. Nobody will be happier about it than I, if you guys get to shove this up my ass later. Well, figuratively speaking.
|
Have flashbacks, Luke
|
It would be nice if Cueto became lock down and paid off when we need him most.
Baseball is weird. We aren't done, but it really felt like this game was important. We'll find out what we are made of now. |

You could make a lot of money right now if you really believed that. |

BTW, Zobrist was much better as a Royal than an A. Players have ups and downs. Baseball isn't like other sports. |

Zobrist has been awesome.

Congrats? |
Hamas should hangout here more often. Breath of fresh air with some logic.

Zobrist hasn't been dissapointing, and the Royals are a good team. Shit just hasn't been going their way. I feel like the massive lead hurt them more than anything. It's hard to pull off and try to go full speed again. It happens all the time.

Series isn't over but we have to depend on Cueto tomorrow & beat Keuchel on Sunday. I'm not confident. |

I'll return to baseball they're in college. |
Goddamn shitty announcer said here comes Gordon. I knew it was Sal coming. He's ****ed up so many times tonight.
|
We all know what's going to happen here right?
|
Sal almost swung at that ball 3ft outside.

Yes. |

But I'd take baseball any day over the ****ing Chiefs same shit. At least the Royals built something respectable with player development from within. |

At least he swung at a strike.

Sal back to pull happy --- hips FLYING open too soon

Well the storm that went through Kansas City has reached here and knocked my HD signal out.

If there's one thing we have going for us is these guys don't press much. I am sure they don't feel much pressure from losing game 1. They haven't had a long losing streak all year and you can win in any park on any night.
|
There we go! Nice surprise
|
Get 'um tomorrow guys...

If a shitass team like the Giants can only make the playoffs every other year and then fall ass over teakettle into WS titles despite often huge deficits in series, then you guys can take an 87 win Astros team. |
Well let's do better tomorrow.
|
AIDS
Blame OP |
Well we've got work to do now. Lose tomorrow and we're in deep doo doo.
|
Welp, we got our work cut out for us, boys.
It starts with Cueto justifying the trade, |

Way to go Stros! You just beat the best in their place and you did it your way. Still have a long way to go but its much better to have to play .500 ball than .750.

**** him! |

I've seen Kuechel without command. We have beat him this year too. It's not ideal, but down 0-1 is still doable. This wasn't a WC game. |

I've been a die hard supporter of both teams since I left in February 1993 but it's time for me to acknowledge my current responsibilities. Reading books and watching educational programs is more important than a watching baseball team 2,000 miles a way in a city in which I don't live. Pretty humbling. |

If you get two flares and a 325 ft. flyball to left then you're up 3-0. |

Ok. Let's look at it like this. Even the most homeristic of homers knows that tomorrow is virtually a must win. So it comes down to wether or not you like our chances with Cueto. I personally, do not. Want to be wrong, hope I'm wrong, will accept much shit talk of if I'm wrong, sadly don't think I'm wrong.

Now can the Astros win tomorrow... absolutely. But saying you believe Kazmir has pitched better than Cueto coming into the game is not based in any kind of reality. |

Besides, what are u gonna do if the Royals win tomorrow? |
Do you remember that year when Gary Anderson hadn't missed a FG all year then missed the only one that mattered?
It's sports. If you are that sure that Kuechel will win sell your house and go to Vegas. |
Welp. That sucked. Have to take the next two, now.
But in what world has Ben Zobrist been disappointing? He has been exactly what should have been expected: A .280 hitter with good PPP and OBP skills who provides above average defensive play at multiple spots. |
