The Eagles corner situation was a complete mess last year and it was so poor it hurt the team as a whole. I'm going to double dip here to solidify the teams #1 CB and NB.
In the fourth round of the 2017 CP mock, The Philadelphia Eagles select Corn Elder, CB, Miami. The Cardinals are on the clock. |
Good call
|
Corn Elder is a name that really presents a strong visual image, and I just looked him up and it's not the right visual image at all.
|
The Arizona Cardinals select Nico Siragusa, OG, San Diego State.

Nice edit....you prick.

Also, way to send the next guy a PM... not
|
I'm starting to subscribe to the 'Direkshun has been hacked' theory floated some number of pages ago now.
Amateur hour up in here... |
Don't really need a DT, but maybe Shariff Floyd continues to be a piece of crap like he was last year. Can never have enough of these guys.
The Minnesota Vikings select Elijah Qualls, DT, Washington |
And the Trex comes off the board.
Great pick in the 4th |

The Indianapolis Colts select Marcus Maye, Safety, Florida.

There he goes.
Straight up insane that he lasted till the 4th Round. |
My guy is still there.
4 more picks. C'mon...just gotta get 4 more picks. |

It's been said 100 times, but this draft is just so ridiculously ****ing deep. I can't wait to see what Dorsey comes away with.

Well. It turns out I didn't.
I swear I thought I had. Maybe I've hacked myself or something. |

The Baltimore Ravens select Taylor Orlosky, C, WVU.
The Washington Redskins select Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan. |
chiefscafan PM'd me the pick
Tennessee selects Stacy Coley, WR, Miami |
With the 125th pick in the 2017 CP Mock Draft,
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select John Johnson, Safety, Boston College http://c8.alamy.com/comp/F5AJPF/satu...ohn-F5AJPF.jpg Buccs are relieved that Johnson was still available. After totally biffing last round by not taking Marcus Williams, they are bailed out by the last free safety prospect in the draft they felt comfortable with. Johnson shows ability in zone but also man, and is a solid tackler. He's not an elite athlete at the position, which is why he's lasted this long, but his instincts are very good. |
Alex Anzelone, LB - Florida
Boss should've taken this guy with his last pick. Woodard leaving messed up Denver's coverage ability over the middle. Anzalone has all the tools to be a damn good ILB. |
Can somebody PM Tamba for me? Watched this thing from work all day then it goes nuts as soon as I leave and have to make a phone pick.
|
|
PM sent
|
The Detroit Lions select Wayne Gallman RB Clemson
|
Shit, this is a tough choice. I need a minute.
|
Please fix Anzalone's spelling or someone will pick him again later after ctrl effing.
|
A ton of different directions I could go, but I decided to grab a RB before this tier runs out.
A lot of opinions out there on this guy. Seems like people either love him or hate him. Latavius Murray isn't a big guy and neither is this dude, but only queers care about having a "change of pace" runner as your 2nd guy. How about just getting the most complete back with the best play-making ability and worry about his dick size later when you're about to go to bed. Minnesota selects Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida |
Good choice SNR.
|
The Oakland Raiders select Carlos Henderson, WR, La tech
Michael Crabtree will be 30 this year and his play started to drop off last year. I'm going with the BPA here and a top 5 WR on my board. Just too good of value to pass up here, especially when you're pairing him with a QB like Carr. |
I almost took Henderson at 98 just because the value was so good. That's a steal here.
|
Pm please

2nd round talent at worst, gotta hope for a little health luck. Late 4th is worth the risk. |

In the third round, I'd much rather have Douglas. Anzelone was gonna be our 4th round pick if he lasted that far, though. |

DJ... I think I'd be happy with that one. Who knows how it all pans out, but this is an interesting mock.
Round 1 20. Denver - DJ's left nut - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin Round 2 51. Denver - DJ's left nut - Sidney Jones, CB, Washington Round 3 101. Denver - DJ's left nut - Derek Rivers, DE/OLB, Youngstown State Round 4 126. Denver - DJ's left nut - Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida |
Looks like the Pats are on the clock, right?

Going super defense heavy was certainly not my design but that's just the way the board fell. I'd have loved to take David Nkoju with that first rounder but the T situation in Denver is just way too nasty. |

Sorry boys, had a late night some new friends and didnt get a chance to check this. Low and behold yall went ahead and grabbed my top guys. I'm happy with what I'm ending up with though.
The Houston Texans select Anthony Walker, Northwestern, ILB. |
I've got back to backers at the end of the thread, if it gets to me this afternoon I'll be out and away from my phone.
Just an fyi, trying to be considerate since I've built a jackals rep |
I can't remember who has been putting the rounds together.....but if you want to....can you shoot me Round 5 and I'll get it up in the OP?
|
New England is in the house. Give me a few minutes.
|
You know her. You love her. Or some perverted variant of love. Entering the arena to make the Patriots' selection is Boston native and all-around hottie, Eliza Dushku! Give her a hand!
(Per audience request, she is approaching the podium on her hands and knees while wearing a bikini, so this may take a few minutes.) http://yesofcorsa.com/wp-content/upl...iza_dushku.jpg |
(She's almost there. Pay close attention as she climbs the stairs.)
|
She reaches the podium and breathlessly rises to face the crowd.

With the 4-131 pick in the 2017 NFL annual player selection process, the New England Patriots select James Conner, Running Back, Pittsburgh.
|
So hey, 'bout those tits...

New England need a strong inside runner, and Conner will fit the bill for us. He can also push for a greater role.

Round 5 is up.
Apparently Seattle had to forfeit the 170th overall pick for something they did, putting KC into that slot. Anybody know what they did to draw the ire of Goodell? |

This is a really tough decision because there are a handful of prospects I really want to draft with this pick and all of them would be great value choices...but this player has first round type talent and I have no idea why he's still out there.
In the 4th round of the 2017 CP mock the Kansas City Chiefs select Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA He's a year removed from a torn acl, was a 5 star recruit and is extremely disruptive when healthy. Extremely comparable to Tim Jernigan from Baltimore in body type and playing style. |
I ****ing hate that kid.

The Dallas Cowboys select George Kittle, TE, Iowa.
|
Quote:
Getting Kittle in the late fourth is a HUGE STEAL in any draft. He's only given up 1 QB pressure in pass pro in the last 2 seasons COMBINED, is the nations 2nd best run blocking TE and ran a 4.52 40 at the combine at his size is very special. Really good hands. Very versatile. KC having Logan and Howard only signed for next year and needing to earmark $ for Peters, Jones, Ford and others makes picks like this very important. Also, one of my 3 standouts from TC was Ross Travis (my 3 standouts were Ross, Chris Jones and Tyreek Hill) so part of me is hoping he earns a bigger role with Harris having legal trouble. |
