Why don't you focus your spirit into embedding tweets?

I love it when I read stuff like, "Charcandrick West has an ankle."

Romeo Crennel used to do that and it would crack me up. The media would ask about a Jamaal injury or something and Romeo would respond with, "Jamaal has a knee." I'd be sitting here laughing and thinking, "well holy shit, Jamaal still has a knee!!! Thank God his knee didn't fall off!!!"

It's his last year. He's going to Indy next year after Pagano's contract runs out.

We should literally do a training camp assignment schedule, and every day one person periscopes for our private feed.

Decent read from Tiecher on Mahomes today.

So apparently Cario Santos kicked a 60 yard field goal

So Alex Smith doesn't have to move the LOS but 30 yards if he has too.

Great news that he isn't looking like a lost rookie...I haven't had an opinion on Mahomes...was waiting until he actually practiced. My expectations were pretty low...

Could KC actually have drafted a real starting QB? This is foreign territory and I dont know how to respond...

He is getting as many reps as second string Tyler Bray meaning it's a fair competition and they like what they are seeing out of Mahomes and he is going make it hard for coaches not to give him the #2 backup job come opening day.

Really imo what separates Patrick from other guys is his love for the game and staying late after practice is a big deal in terms of dedication.

To me it's hard not to get excited for all the possibilities this Franchise can grow with this kid. I also expect some set backs but he will overcome them only to be better for it.

I think what separates him..is he had to carry his college team. They had to essentially score every drive to remain in the game. I think their defense was ranked dead last in the nation.

That's a lot of live experience having to ad-lib/over-compensate in a real game environment. His O-line was terrible. It's showing up in the two minute drills...

Well the good news is our defense is steller and can be dominant with the young guys we got last few drafts and so he doesn't have to put the team all on his shoulders right out of the gate when he does start. He also will have some weapons like Tyreek and Kelce so HOLY SHIT BALLS we can own the NFL this next decade staying healthy and all.

Yeah a lot of people give credit to DeShaun Watson for beating Bama in the title game (which is fair) but few mentioned that Mahomes had pressure to score on every drive to even have a chance at winning.

I'm not so sure, the number of reps is likely for learning purposes since he is brand new and Bray isn't, and obviously the future. If Smith goes down for a series or a game, the Chiefs may still want Bray's "experience" under center.

I doubt it. He's going to have to take down a big dog like Robinson in order to work his way into that kind of spot.

Reid's not going to cut Wilson. He's just not. Maybe send him down to exclusive STs WR6 role, but he's not going to get cut.

But Veach might.

If Jones isn't a Camp Wonder and actually performs in the preseason, they can't expect to sneak him through waivers this year, especially with his size.

It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds.

I'm intrigued by the looming decisions at ILB. That will be a position to watch throughout the preseason during every quarter.

Will they keep 4 or 5?

DJ is a lock. I'd guess Ramik, Eligwe and Pierre-Louis make it too. Then you have JML, Mauga, and Terrance Smith battling for 1-2 spots.

Another nice article from Terez. (Sorry if already posted)

It's nice to see all of the positivity surrounding Mahomes here early in camp. It's also a good time to remember that we need to have some patience. If the kid can do what he is doing right now all the while he is still learning the offense, imagine what he might be able to do in the future when he can just play ball and read defenses.

I can't wait, but I encourage all to remember the big picture, long term.

I would guess they are just trying to help Mahomes learn. Reps in practice is a good way to do that as a brand new rookie.

Yep it was three in a row. They were simulating the situation of the playoff game (down 8, 7:58 to go). It was 3rd and 15 after a sack and incomplete pass. He completed a 2-point conversion the next play to 'tie', too.
