I’m in KC week 3 and going to the Packers SNF game 10/27. In Vegas the week after T day. Otherwise anything outside of week 1 works for me.

Phoenix is a nice short hop from my current location.

I would make two suggestions:

1. For early season: Oct 13th against the Texans at Home

2. For late season: Either Dec 1st at Home against Faiders or Dec 15th at Home against Donkeys

Zach and I are thinking about hitting a local sports bar for the first game of the year. Not decided yet; anyone else interested?

I usually go to Santisi Brothers sports bar in north Phoenix for the first game. I-17N & Bell rd. They've got like 200 TVs, including 20 or so big screens. Only downside is that they probably will play the sound for a different game (my guess is the Vikes).

Plus they have a breakfast buffet: usually it's scrambled eggs, sausage, pizza, wings, etc.

scho and I are in.

Santisi's also has a regular menu, mostly Italian stuff plus burgers, ribs, etc. Almost forgot, as I usually just hit the buffet.

Bloody Mary's with bacon for the first drink of the morning. They have a good one.

If everyone is really interested in meeting up at Tisi's I need to know by tonight (10pm?) so I can call my manager buddy and reserve a table or something.

Okay, here's the deal: for some reason they aren't taking reservations for tomorrow. Probably some internal issues; wouldn't surprise me. Bar opens at 9am.

I'm going on a date tonight, and if it goes well, I probably won't get to the bar until 10a. If it doesn't go well, I'll probably get there around 9:30a.

I figure we want a 4-stool tall near bar 1 at least; no idea what the butt count is right now.

Wish Talking Stick had a good bar for this. Shadow's has a couple of TV's and I'm famous there so can get great seats. It's a cigar bar with just a couple of TV's but not many people go there and last time I was there, they had sports on the TV's. They are closing in October.

The North door may be the only door unlocked at 9am. Once inside, to your left is bar 1. The short bar just to the right is bar 2. Talls are nearest the bars. I like tables near bar 1, because it gets crowded around the buffet near bar 2. I'm not a fan of people bumping into me all day.

It's seat yourself.

If the we all drive 20-25 miles out to Santisi's for the first time ever for both the bar AND meeting Megatron, we need to make sure he is confirmed to go. I'm good with that.
If not somewhere back on this side of town but we better decide quickly.

If we want to stay in Scottsdale there's a place called "The Tavern"...not the "Tavern" on Scottsdale Road and Double Tree that Scho63 know about...it used to be called "Teakwoods". They open early...they are located at 8880 E Vía Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258...Good food...usually drink specials...but like I said...wherever. There's also a place called "the Backyard" on Via De Ventura just west of the 101...outdoor seating...but an Eagles bar but still accommodating.

I'll leave the choice this time to you guys: Tavern in Scottsdale or Santisi's in Phoenix.
