I will admit I didnt think it was huge. It was mistake obviously but Carr doesn't fix the QB situation so yea, its wrong but its like bitching about the dent you didn't fix in the side of your 1980 Firebird when you need to be driving a ZR1 Corvette to keep up with your competition.

You're OK with letting a good player go and signing a slightly less expensive one who was and is a complete sack of shit?

Makes no sense, no matter what position we're discussing.

Our starting wideouts today were DMC and Baldwin. Ice pick please.

WildTurkey 12-16-2012 06:53 PM

I'm fine with losing Carr if it ends up getting us Geno

Romeo says that sometimes receivers just don't run the route deep enough.
We need a whole ****ing yard Romeo.

DUMBASS

Just looking at a receiver's point of view.

When he gets separation, then we can worry about the QB.

The sad thing is that he had to think about it.

...QB is the only issue right now.

This is a short-sighted approach.

Yes, we need a QB, but this alone will not fix a host of terrible decisions, which we'll need to compensate for and try to fix.

True but I am not going to bitch about much except QB until I get one.

Andrew Luck and RGIII are making unknown CB's into playoff participants.

That's not what I said. Don't twist things. Obviously you have to replace him with someone who is not complete garbage. That's where Pioli failed. But investing all your money in cornerbacks isn't a smart way to do business. Or maybe I missed all the championships Surtain and Law won for the Chiefs.

Championship defenses are won in the front 7, and more specifically the ability to rush the passer. Especially in today's football. When you get to the end of the road everyone's got a franchise QB... it's being able to disrupt the other team's passer the best. The Giants won two Super Bowls with a no-name secondary... and the Patriots have been to multiple Super Bowls playing WRs and other assorted garbage in the secondary. Now of course you don't have to be that brutal with the position... but the NFL has neutered the position, just like running backs.
