Doesn't it look like both Hosmer and Moustakas have been swinging like they were wanting to hit the HR rather than drive the ball? And in doing that they are too fully extended in their swings to be able to take the pitch on the outside of the plate to the opposite field?

Interesting that the crew on Fox was basically making the same statement.....talking about how all the lefties in the lineup were trying to pull the ball when they should be hitting the ball to the opposite field.

We really should run Gordon out of town. This team lives and dies as a collective offensively. Butler is the only guy that can maybe carry the offense.

By the time he pitches, it would be 3 full days in hours, but not enough time to recover his strength to maintain his control.
