Cincinnati newspaper gives the full front page treatment for their Super Bowl loss but the LA Times not so much for their team’s win…

Because there's not **** else to do in Cincinnati and city championship teams are plentiful in LA. Cincinatti had the entire city behind them. Not so much in LA.
Cincinnati resident cared a hell of a lot more than LA resident. |
Why did the Super Bowl feel so cheap this year? Serious question and I may make a thread on this as it seems the NFL is going more and more basic each year.
It started in SB 54. No trophy walk? The part where they walk the trophy out as the epic music plays and the players get to relish the fact they actually did it. They reached the mountain top. They haven’t done it since SB 53. But there’s way more No intro montages for the teams being introduced? What? No intro theme ala stand by me last year where it shows both teams and their stories leading up to this season along with their families chiming in. Hell they even had a hologram of Vince Lombardi giving a speech lmao. This year they walked out of the Tunnel. No intro piece. No team introductions no nothing. Just the Rock being cringy. I know people will say who cares? Me. Obviously the game is the most important but the SB should FEEL EPIC. Like you’re about to witness the final chapter of an epic movie |
