I drove to Springfield and back today. Anybody that saw me on the road during the eighth and ninth innings might have thought I was a legitimate madman driving down the road, lol.

My girlfriend is a die-hard As fan. I think she's still mad from last year but to her credit he doesn't bitch (except for us "taking a break" for one day after the WC game last year). However my celebrating this year seems to have induced some sort of PTSD.

Good thing I'm heading back to KC for game 5 and won't see her for over a week!

My 13 year old son said that... he was on the school bus home, and he couldn't believe that Butera got 10 pitches thrown at him. I couldn't either. I was like damn, that was a MLB at-bat, right there.

Good shit. This is the kind of game that could propel them like last year.
