Do we think these guys haven’t looked into options? You think they are just winging it?

The fact that Brett came back from the combine and told Orlando and his agent to **** off makes me wonder if they like this tackle class.

I really wish people would stop claiming the bolded part.

1. They still have an entire week to work on a contract and there's still a chance that they are still talking. That's only different if reports come out that they've broke off talks.

2. It could simply be Veach having a number that he feels comfortable paying and that's it. That doesn't equal Veach telling OBJ and his agent to "**** off".

Once again any LT that is on the FA market is going to have issues. His is mainly getting hurt, but it is what it is.

I'm not confident in it because of who OBJ is, dude wants a number and isn't budging.

it sure sounds cool to say that he told them to **** off though. Don't let reality get in the way of a good story.

We don't know this 100% for sure. We may be convinced of it but in reality, we know no actual facts about this that aren't over a year old now.

I don't think they'll get a deal done either but Veach didn't tell anyone to "**** off" a week before FA.

I think it's probably more a Lamar Jackson situation where they're like fine why don't you go see what your market is. The problem with this one is I do think there will be a team or 2 willing to offer more than the Chiefs are.

You could probably get Donovan Smith if you really needed a stop gap for a year.

Smith is a worse player though, he's just shitty. The only reason he even looked halfway decent is because Brady gets the ball out so fast.

Dude...I posted that well before you did. Where in that does it say that Veach told them to **** off? It doesn't.

They didn't franchise tag him because it would tie up a ton of money that they wouldn't be able to use in FA right away. They also probably aren't coming to an agreement before FA begins either. That still doesn't mean that Veach looked at OBJ and his agent and told him to get the **** out of KC.

Keep posting it though like it's some kind of evidence.
