He didn't throw directly to several defenders.

One of the INTs the receiver made a poor attempt at a catch.

The other he got fooled by a zone blitz he had never seen before.

The third was all on him. High throw.

2 equals several. Get a grip, the next 4 months are going to hurt.

You tools need to get a grip.

They went all in on Geno and need to save face by using the Jets as an excuse for his failure.

Everyone with a functioning brain knew he was facing incredible odds going to the Jerks.

It is what it is.

Meanwhile, Axl...LMAO

He isn't NFL ready, and that applies to any team. Sure he has a bad situation at the Jets, but he still needs to be better than he has been.

A bust will bust no matter what team he's on. Yeah, NYJ might be a bad environment but if he can be a franchise QB, he should look at least average with them. If he busts out there, he would have bust out anywhere.

Yep.
Geno is going to fail for a variety of reasons, most of all, he's not ready and he's getting thrown to the wolves. His team sucks but so does his head and his attitude. His immaturity is going to be front and center when the shit hits the fan. Add that to a bad team, with all kinds of bad management and Ugly won't even begin to describe his season.

The guys hasn't taken a regulation game NFL snap yet. He is 22 years old. Time we should give him.

Not that I root against him, but watching the Jets spiral out of control into oblivion is rather entertaining.

True on both accounts, but Geo has shown an immaturity that I think will be detrimental to his success. Well see obviously, but I see aRyan Leaf meltdown coming...

A good player, will bust in crappy situations.

One player, no matter how good, can raise a franchise by himself.

Drew Brees couldn't last year. He is a top 4 qb in the league. But without his coaches, and a shitty defense, his team massively underachieved.

Geno Smith, no matter how good he is, will never succeed if the Jets are in turmoil like they are now.

Also, this thread needs to be dumped in the garbage.

GENO, VS BRAY.......

that's the only thing that matters.

No. One is more than likely a starter for the season while one is going to school. You FAIL.

QB #1 is 21 years old and in need of development.

QB #2 is 23 years old and in need of development.

Which do you choose?

So lets hear your projection of Genos season.

One is going to be groomed as he should be and one is going to be eaten alive.

2015= Geno bagging groceries, Bray taking the reigns.
