OMG, READ!!! This thread is making reasonable people reeruned.

I'll post this again...

In Texas, the penalties for a hit and run accident depend on the severity of the injuries involved:
  • Minor Injuries: If the accident resulted in minor injuries, it's considered a third-degree felony. This carries a punishment of:
    • Imprisonment: 2 to 10 years in state prison
    • Fines: Up to $10,000
  • Serious Injuries: If the accident caused serious bodily injury, it becomes a second-degree felony. Penalties can be:
    • Imprisonment: Up to 20 years in state prison
    • Fines: Up to $10,000
Remember, these are the maximum potential penalties. The exact sentence will be determined by a judge based on the specific circumstances of the case.
Here are some additional points to consider:
  • Leaving the Scene: The key factor is leaving the scene of the accident without providing information and assistance to those involved.
  • Serious Bodily Injury: The definition of "serious bodily injury" in Texas can include injuries that significantly impair a body function or create a substantial risk of death.
If you're facing charges for a hit and run accident in Texas, it's crucial to consult with an attorney who specializes in criminal defense. They can advise you on the best course of action in your specific situation.

I had no idea there were people out there who actually thought the practice and application of law was simply black and white and as simple as reading a few paragraphs with no room for argument or interpretation. If you think this results in a felony with 2-10 years in prison then you are completely delusional.

I never said that. I'm simply providing the default rule of law in Texas for hit and run with injuries.

We don't even know 100% if he was driving yet.

Stop being reeruned because you don't like the only facts that we know. You're acting like preteen spoiled girl.

Did you ask me for a link? This isn’t a court of law damn. I clearly said the videos and pictures are the facts I personally needed to say Rice is the red Durag guy that he come out of the Lambo from the driver seat.

Not my damn job to link thread pages to you.

But if you haven’t read all the thread pages or googled about any updates maybe don’t go acting like your Rice’s personal attorney know it all. Like I’ve said many times this is not a court of law and we don’t have to act like it is either.

Just look at Henry Ruggs. He drove 140 mph in a 30-40 mph road and killed an innocent person. Should be in jail for at least 20 years, but will potentially get out after only 3 years. That’s a pretty weak penalty for his actions, but it’s a typical example of how the legal system operates.

Someone probably died in that wreck. Some of you have some really warped taste in memes. We had torture porn earlier in the thread. I shudder to think of the dark corners of the internet where you all share this shit with each other.

In respect of the torture video, that was posted by a Raiders fan. You wouldn't expect anything less from that lot.
