Went to the gun show on Saturday. Disappointed in ammo. Zero deals. Same prices if not higher than bass pro, wal mart etc. I did score a cable lock for 4 and some solvent for 3. Lol. Oh well.

My AK is at the FFL - I'll pick it up after work. :thumb:

I gave up 10 years ago trying to find deals at gun shows. I bought a couple Nazi daggers at the last show I went to, some years back.

Yeah I'm getting there. I mean I suppose a show would be good if you wanted to pick ip a bunch of stuff in a one stop shop. But what I noticed was nearly everything was either retail or way inflated. I suppose there are people that attend who don't know what the prices are and think because it's at a show it's therefore a good deal.

I actually saw wolf ammo for 9mm that was going for 13for a box of fifty. Lol pfffff.

Pistols varied by a huge degree from one vendor to the next. In some cases by 100 or more. I saw an SOG aegis knife, which is what I want, go for 95 when I've priced the, onli e for 69-75 bucks.

Dunno....for those who don't go very often, it's wise to price things you're interested I prior to attending. Otherwise there's a good chance youll get boned.

Still irritated about the lack of deals on ammo. I mean, seriously ffs.

Yep. An also to touch and feel multiple weapons. As opposed to gun shops where the staff are typically assholes

I am looking building my own AR-10 starting with a 80% forging, and my dad is looking into building an AR-15/M4.


Anyone else build an AR from near scratch? I have found some UNBELIEVABLE deals if anyone is interested.
