Maybe he gets out there and there isn't a deal he wants and he comes back. It's possible. I could also end up with a foot long pecker, but....

Will it happen? Probably not. Could it happen? Yep, absolutely. |
OBJ wont get the amount of money he wants on the open market. he is not that good.
But I guess there are some teams out there dumb enough to do it. |

It's entirely possible nobody offers him anything close to what he wants and he comes crawling back to the Chiefs. It's happened before. Just look at what Williams did with the Chiefs. |

Why does he care if he overpays? He needs to fill holes not worry about money. |
OBj isn't trash, but he's not ideal for Andy's system. He'd be fine as a run-blocking LT for a team that runs a lot more than the Chiefs. And now he's learned to be adequate as a pass-pro LT, but he's nothing special in that regard. Just serviceable. CHI might like to try him out, since their current LT isn't very good, at either apparently. That's just an example; I don't really know right now which teams are looking that operate a run-centric offense.

That doesn't necessarily mean they'd be willing to dramatically overpay for him. |
