And please, everyone, spare me with the mentions of MVS. We traded Tyreek late, late in the free agency period and needed to build back the WR corps. Options were few and far between and the Chiefs went the Moneyball route of trying to recreate Hill with pieces from the other receivers who were available, and MVS wound up as the deep ball threat, more by need rather than by choice.

The Chiefs aren't operating from that sort of disadvantaged place this offseason.

They still have Rice, Moore, Toney, Watson and Ross under contract.

Bring back Mecole and draft a WR, and save yourself that money. Or make a trade.
