Yeah, they're just an aggregator like that dipshit Dov.

Is Incarncanted Bob still around? Feels like we're on the verge of posters freaking out early in free agency, and OTW smashing heads in. Just need IB to tweet some absurd shit to get the nostalgia train rolling

Ok...I missed that. They're just an aggregate twitter account then.

So if Veach signed the guy, he's just a ****ing moron who doesn't understand the injury and his production since and is blindly relying on the fact that he had a good season 3 years ago?

I would wager you've probably seen no more than 5 minutes of Mooney in your entire life. Yet you seem to have a very strong opinion on what he is and isn't capable of.

And please, everyone, spare me with the mentions of MVS. We traded Tyreek late, late in the free agency period and needed to build back the WR corps. Options were few and far between and the Chiefs went the Moneyball route of trying to recreate Hill with pieces from the other receivers who were available, and MVS wound up as the deep ball threat, more by need rather than by choice.

The Chiefs aren't operating from that sort of disadvantaged place this offseason.

Seriously. We don't need to pay this dude a big chunk just to hope he can be baseline competent as our 3rd option. Just bringing Hardman back and tossing out the scrubs was enough to win the Super Bowl. I'd rather trust Veach to pull a rookie ready to contribute immediately and use that $$$ on the OL.

I think everyone would like a chance to be a little better on offense.

The third option has never cracked 700 in this offense. That's with guys WAY more talented than current ****ed ankle Mooney.

Samuel is interesting. A year under Bienemy. He'll be ready day one.

That's his CEILING, Watson.

Mooney's been a 1000 yard receiver in Matt Nagy's offense with Turdbiskey throwing to him.

He's had some nagging injuries, and Fields is a dumpster fire that throws to his first read or runs.

If Mooney's just hobbled, fair enough, you skip it.

If it's a combination of a high school offense with a dumpster fire at QB, that's worth taking a chance.

If you're EXPECTING a 1000 yard stud in free agency, ain't happening unless it's taking a chance on a change of scenery on a guy like Mooney.

I would expect at minimum 800 yards from Brown and think 1000 yards would be well within reach.

I didn’t even think of that. He should have a decent understanding of verbiage and route concepts. That being said, so would mooney.

Which is exactly why they shouldn't pay $8-10M+ for the production Mecole and/or a draft pick can give you.

They still have Rice, Moore, Toney, Watson and Ross under contract.

Bring back Mecole and draft a WR, and save yourself that money. Or make a trade.

But don't just light money on fire.

RunKC 03-11-2024 08:50 PM

Yeah checking again and the Jags may have overpaid a little this year but not really. Gabe Davis got an MVS contract that’s only more bc of cap inflation. Same thing for Duvernay. That’s pretty much the cap inflated Juju contract we gave him 2 years ago, but with likely a team option for year 2

The WR market so far has been skull ****ed

BREAKING: Veteran standout offensive guard Damien Lewis is signing with the Carolina Panthers it is a four-year deal worth $53 million.

This we can agree on, Chris.

Dude's not a one year wonder, and has the run/catch/gadget skillset that Andy loves.

I do wonder if Mecole can be reclaimed. He still only turns 26 this year. In 21 and then again in 22 before injury he was giving the kind of number 3 production we need, assuming we are drafting WR in the first that can repeat Rice development.

Last year after the Toney and Skyy busts we were all saying if only we had Hardman's numbers back we'd be fine.

Hardman is fine but just lacks so much football awareness. I actually feel like Davis is similar in that regard which is why I’m quite happy we didn’t go after him.
